At A CrossroadsHe awoke to the smell of flowers. Lilacs, to be precise. His eyes fluttered open as the light, not unlike the sunrise of a pale spring morning, gently cast itself upon him. For a moment, everything seemed a blur, as though he were stuck in limbo between sobering consciousness and dream-like eternity. A soft breeze drew by, sweeping his long black hair in his green eyes. He sat up, brushing his hair aside as he gazed upon his surroundings. Where the hell was he? Well, he was in a garden for starters; he lay upon a flagstone path, with bits of moss growing on and in between the slabs of grey aAt A Crossroads

Underrealm: part twoIstanbul, Turkey, 1:34 A.M. local timeUnderrealm: part two
Medina ran down the alley, her breath made ragged by exertion & fear. She glanced backwards, & she saw them; figures in the darkness, at least three of them, running after her. She began running faster, gasping for breath as she clutched at the wound in her ribs, trying to stem the bleeding. She was pushing herself as hard as she could, but she knew she could not keep this pace up for long; the pain stabbed at her with every move, every breath she took, & black spots appeared in her vision. Her foot caught something, sending her sprawling. &nb

Underrealm: part oneXander looked around, confused. He did not know where he was. The buildings around him were old & decrepit, & the road & sidewalks were in poor condition. The few streetlights that worked flickered on & off. The air seemed vaguely foggy, & was cold. There were no other people; just himself. His long black hair seemed to cling to the back of his neck, & condensation began to cling to his goatee, which was blonde in contrast to his hair. He was wearing a trench coat & motorcycle boots, & he felt his sunglasses in his pocket. He stepped forward, hesitant.&nbsUnderrealm: part one

Yeah, I knew it'd pass, but the good thing is it really took a boot to my keister and made me stand up for once. It really has energized a lot of people to do more.
Anyway, thanks for the support! I had a small argument with someone earlier, so I really appreciate that.
Oh, and you're welcome!
